Christy Brock, your YogaSurf instructor, at the afternoon class

This is a great program for men, women and families, from beginners to all level of experience in yoga and surfing.

In Christy Brock's words: "You can be a Yogini Wahine too!"
"Wahine", pronounced WAH-HE-NEE, derives from the Hawaiian word for woman and refers to a female surfer. One who practices Yoga is a "yogi", or "yogini", if female. So, a "Yogini Wahine" is a woman who enjoys surfing and Yoga as means to bring physical and mental balance and spiritual repose. Another way to say it: a "Yogini Wahine" is a female of any age who looks to both the ocean and her Yoga practice as sources that quench her thirst for natural balance, self-discovery, and spiritual strength.
