| Inward Bound is delighted
to sponsor Neva Ingalls and her special
FUSION weekend for our annual fall yoga weekend.
Neva teaches in the Washington, DC, area and has
been a longtime friend of Jane and past retreat
leader.
She brings her lifelong study
of a variety of dance/movement modalities, yoga
and energy circulation principles into her practice
of two unique healing methods: Flow Yoga
- a combination of movement therapy, Qi Gong,
Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga traditions - and Jin
Shin Jyutsu physio-philsophy, which is
an ancient art of harmonizing the life energy
in the body.
In addition to twenty years of
private practice, Neva is director of "Mindful
Movement" for Convergence Higher Health Inc.,
and National Director of Dance/Fitness/Nutrition
and Stress Management for the Best Friends Foundation,
a non-profit organization for girls.
| The benefits
you can hope to experience from Flow
Yoga are:
(1) Realize full potential
through fused focus of body, mind and emotions.
(2) Experience enhanced strength, flexibility
and fluidity, physically, mentally and emotionally.
(3) Increase your breath, energy and sense
of integrated, grounded, well-being.
Neva's Fusion
Dance combines celebration and contemplation,
ritual and rejuvenation, through the healing
arts of yoga, dance, music, chanting and
silent meditation.

Jin
Shin Jyutsu® physio-philosophy
is an ancient art of harmonizing the life
energy in the body. This promotes optimum
health and well-being, and facilitates our
own healing capacity, bringing relaxation
and reducing the effects of stressful lifestyle
and environment. Jin
Shin Jyutsu employs 26 "safety energy
locks" along energy pathways that feed
life into our bodies. Blockage in one or
more of these pathways, and the resulting
stagnation, can disrupt the local area and
eventually disharmonize the complete path
of energy flow. Holding0 various combinations
of these "safety energy locks"
can bring balance to mind, body and spirit.
